HOW TO GET TEXTURED HAIR 101

Anika just released their new texture collection and it’s AMAZING! I’ve gotten the opportunity to try this line, so I definitely wanted to review them for you. I don’t use all these products at the same time!

Got Grit: This is formulated as a dry shampoo, but has a paste texture. It absorbs any excess dirt & oils. Love the consistency of this product because you can achieve the piecey textured hair look. Works for all hair types! Also, it’s perfect for taming any frizz & flyaways. Love that you’re in control of styling. Would highly recommend! Got Grit is free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban in their products.

Bushwick Beach: Instantly adds volume & texture to the hair! Literally beach hair without a beach. This spray includes NO salt! Shake it before using & spray from a distance away. Wave Spray can be used on damp & dry hair. I recommend using it on dry, if you wanted the extra volume & texture. It’s formulated without sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban.

Un Done Texture Hairspray Spray: This product isn’t new, but it’s part of Amika’s texture line. My go-to hairspray is Un done! It provides texture & volume to the hair. I use this right after I’m done with any hot tools to finish my hair look off. It smells amazing & is definitely a must have! Works for all hair types! Un Done is formulated without sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban. Would highly recommend!
