Now that it is almost fall, your makeup, skincare & hair routine needs a bit of an upgrade.
Hair: Leave in conditioner, texture spray & hair masks are a definite yes!! Keep your hair hydrated & use a heat protector to shield it from hot tools. At night, I definitely recommend leaving a hair mask in for 10-20 minutes twice a week. After taking a shower, I apply Leave in Conditioner to my hair to maintain a healthy nourishing look. If possible let your hair air dry, instead of using a blow dryer! ALSO, the most affordable and healthy way you can nourish your hair is by using pure Coconut Oil (linked below!) Loose waves & messy buns are my go to for the colder seasons. Be more adventurous & try a new hairstyle/cut!

Makeup: Bye bye “no makeup” summer looks & say hello to bolder choices!
During the colder months, is the best time to kick in foundation & darker lipsticks. I use the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation and I love it! Marc Jacobs, Urban Decay & MAC have some good darker lip options. With wearing foundation, it is super important to have a good foundation primer. The Laura Mercier Foundation Primer: Hydrating is one of the bests on the market. Use setting powder to keep your makeup in place all day long. Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder is my actual go to! Mascara is a must year round, I use the Lancome Monseiur Big Waterproof Mascara. Gives volume and lengthens your eyelashes. I still like to keep my makeup more natural, these products (listed below) are my go-to’s for fall.

Skincare: It is so important to keep your skin hydrated & healthy. Moisturizers, lip balms & masking is in! The transition between summer and fall makes my skin so dry because of temperature change. I will be using the Olekenriksen Sheer Moisturizer & their Bright Banana Eye Cream this season! If you love thicker moisturizers, I definitely recommend the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. Face masks are key! I usually do 2 different ones a week. The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask is incredible!! Super silky and feels amazing upon the face. Lush has a wide variety of masks, I love the Cup O’ Coffee mask! It is exfoliates & smells divine. Usually during fall, I am wearing more lip balm than I ever have in the year. My go to lip balm is the Glossier Rose Balm Dotcom.

Thanks so much for reading!
xx,
I always forget how to give my hair more care. I am so guilty of just shampoo and conditioner!

Yes, life can be so busy! I suggest only using shampoo every other time you wash it because it can dry out your hair.
